NOJA Power has released PQS Version 1.5.1, expanding support for RC-20 and REL-04 platforms with digital channel visualisation for oscillography, improved cybersecurity compatibility and enhanced workflows for power quality monitoring applications.
Expanded Support for REL-04 and RC-20 platforms
Version 1.5.1 introduces full support for REL-04 modules and RC-20 series controllers, providing a more unified power quality monitoring experience across NOJA Power’s protection and automation platforms.
Users can now retrieve power quality records and logs through both network and USB connections, simplifying access to oscillography, harmonics, interruptions and voltage sag/swell data.
The new version also includes a secure USB login process for RC-20 and REL-04 platforms, featuring enhanced authentication and streamlined registration workflows to simplify secure access.
Oscillography with Digital Channel Visualisation
One of the significant upgrades in Version 1.5.1 is the expansion of oscillography analysis capabilities. Engineers can now view digital channels alongside voltage and current waveforms, allowing protection signals, breaker operations and switching events to be analysed within the same oscillography record. Additional improvements include a dedicated digital-channel graph with channel selection, trigger-time display and zoom-on-drag functionality for more detailed event investigation.

The release further extends oscillography export capabilities by allowing digital channels to be included in both image and COMTRADE exports. Dedicated digital-channel graphs can now be selected and rendered as part of exported output, with appropriate 0/1 state formatting to clearly represent relay and switching operations. These additions provide a more complete record of network events for engineering analysis and reporting.
Secure Operation and Data Integrity
Version 1.5.1 improves compatibility with RC-20 and REL-04 installations operating with NOJA Power’s Advanced Cyber Security features enabled, helping ensure reliable communications in secure deployment environments.
The release also introduces database size monitoring and protection mechanisms for long-term power quality data collection. Users are automatically notified as database capacity limits are approached, with additional safeguards including write-blocking and guided backup workflows to help protect historical power quality records and support continuous monitoring applications.
PQS Version 1.5.1 is available for download from the NOJA Power website.
