NOJA Power today announced the upcoming release of Device Configuration Manager (DCM) version 1.2.0.0 , a significant software update designed to deliver improved performance, enhanced protection engineering capabilities, and stronger security integration for utility and industrial users.

DCM v1.2.0.0 is a PC based application used to configure, manage, and analyse NOJA Power recloser and switchgear devices in both online and offline environments, supporting RC-10, RC-15, RC-20 and VISI-SWITCH devices on Microsoft Windows 11.

Key Upgrade Highlights

Improved Performance and Stability

DCM v1.2.0.0 introduces a next generation application framework built on a major underlying platform upgrade, delivering faster startup times, smoother interface interactions, and improved performance during everyday engineering tasks. Startup time has been improved by approximately 23%, enabling faster access to complex configuration screens, large datasets, and extended engineering workflows—helping engineers remain productive and focused on their work.

Users can now view and work with advanced protection functions, including Admittance Protection , through clear and intuitive graphical views. The updated curve editor makes it easier to create, compare, and adjust protection curves, helping engineers confirm settings more quickly and apply them with greater confidence.

Faster, More Efficient Engineering Workflows

Everyday workflows within Template Manager and Device Historian have been refined to reduce unnecessary steps and improve usability. Engineers can work more efficiently with configuration templates, access historian data more easily, and export records with greater reliability. Support for signed configuration packages and expanded device compatibility ensures that users can move between offline preparation and live device interaction with fewer interruptions and less rework.

Enterprise Ready Security and Integration

DCM v1.2.0.0 strengthens application security to better meet enterprise IT and cybersecurity requirements. Updates to user management, directory integration, licensing, and secure communications make DCM easier to deploy in regulated and security conscious environments, with clearer role separation, more reliable authentication, and improved long term compliance.

“DCM v1.2.0.0 marks a milestone update for the platform,” said Neil O’Sullivan, NOJA Power Group Managing Director.

“At NOJA Power, we continue to invest in improving performance, usability, and security. With this release, customers will experience a more intuitive, efficient, and secure tool that supports today’s operational needs and provides a strong foundation for the future.”

DCM v1.2.0.0 is planned for customer availability in mid April 2026 via NOJA Power’s website.
