The validation program included a comprehensive series of interruption and switching duties, including T100, T50, T20, T10 and T5 test duties, together with line charging current tests, cable charging current tests, and short-time withstand and peak withstand current verification. Conducted across both 50 Hz and 60 Hz operating frequencies, the program independently verified EcoLink's performance against the requirements of IEC 62271-111:2019 and IEEE Std C37.60:2018.

As a cutout-mounted fuse alternative that fits directly into existing medium-voltage fuse holders, EcoLink enables utilities to upgrade network protection without changing installed infrastructure. The device automatically restores power following transient faults, reducing unnecessary fuse operations and helping utilities improve network reliability while lowering operational costs.

Neil O'Sullivan, Group Managing Director of NOJA Power, said:

“Independent testing at leading laboratories such as KEMA provides utilities with confidence that EcoLink delivers the performance and reliability required for modern distribution networks. This achievement represents another important step in the continued expansion of EcoLink across international markets.”

The successful KEMA USA testing program further strengthens EcoLink's position as a practical solution for distribution network operators seeking to enhance reliability and resilience across both established and emerging electricity markets. The achievement supports the continued deployment of EcoLink across global electricity networks, including growing opportunities in North America.
