Every year, hundreds of charitable petrol heads join the mission to raise money for the Endeavour Foundation. This mission is conquering thousands of kilometres of dusty rally track in Queensland’s North. As one of the longest standing and most successful charity events in Australia, NOJA Power® is proud to support the Cane Toad Cruisers, a 4wd rally entry piloted by Nigel and Gayle Pattinson. They are joined by a host of friends of the NOJA Power® family who are fundraising for a very worthy cause in the Endeavour Foundation. This year is the 30th Anniversary of the Great Endeavour Rally. The Endeavour Foundation is making an appeal for donations in support of the great community work they accomplish.

The Endeavour Foundation was founded in Queensland, Australia in 1951, operating as an independent not-for-profit organisation. With charitable arms in diverse areas, Endeavour works to support people with disabilities, to ensure they have real opportunities and the tools to achieve, despite their challenges. Their focus is holistic, covering the full spectrum of life in disability, from home through to work, including social participation, specialist behaviour support and learning. The Endeavour Foundation is a large organisation of over 2500 members of staff and, for over 65 years, they have made an enormous difference to the lives of many people living with disabilities.

“NOJA Power greatly values the work that the Endeavour Foundation achieves in the community,” reported Group Managing Director Neil O’Sullivan. “The Endeavour Foundation is one of Australia’s hardest-working and deserving charities and NOJA Power is proud to support Gayle and Nigel in this Iconic Australian fundraising event.”

Neil’s support is echoed by other members of his family, as his siblings Linda, John and Gayle all have joined as sponsors of Endeavour Rally Car 8, “The Cane Toad Cruisers”. The organisations and associations of the Yatala Pie Shop, Axis Building, CGU insurance, and Positive Fire Protection, respectively, have all committed sponsorship to the Cane Toad Cruisers and the Endeavour Foundation.

As the 30th Anniversary event of the Great Endeavour Rally (June 9 to 17), this 8 day epic odyssey through picturesque far North Queensland will be a challenge for all the drivers. Kicking off in Yeppoon, halfway up the Queensland coast, drivers travel north through to Cooktown, north of Cairns. The race then turns inland to Palmer River, before heading south for over 1000km down to Hervey Bay. Drivers on this course, will be supported by the Endeavour Foundation team mechanics, ensuring all drivers make it to Hervey Bay.

If you believe in the vision of the Endeavour Foundation, in their mission to support people with disabilities in the community and helping them live more fulfilling lives, then perhaps you would consider donating to this cause, just as NOJA Power® and the O’Sullivan family have.
