Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Specialist

NOJA Power’s customer database is vital to the success of all NOJA Power initiatives and projects. The information contained within the database provides our staff with the historical context, actionable current information and the ability to create informed future planning. The Customer Relationship Management Specialist position is primarily responsible for maintaining the accuracy and functionality of NOJA Power’s CRM System, and associated Sales Support IT Infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The CRM system is a mission critical asset for the NOJA Power Marketing and Business Development Management Teams. A successful person in the CRM Specialist role will be business minded – analysing the requirements of our BDM Team and deploying clear information and insights to support the sales and marketing activities of NOJA Power.

The primary responsibility of the CRM Specialist includes the maintenance of NOJA Power’s database. The maintenance includes the addition of new information, updating changes to existing information and deletion of obsolete data.

The position will suit a recent graduate from an IT, Marketing or Business Analyst background.

The CRM Specialist is charged with developing techniques and processes to continuously verify the integrity of the information contained within the database. The verification process should be coordinated on a Company wide basis and involve the training and education of appropriate staff members.

The CRM Specialist serves as a resource to NOJA Power’s CRM system users. Training and communications should be developed, and occur as needed, to provide optimal utilization of the database and to coordinate the effective collection of information. In addition, continuous assessment of the capacity and functionality of the current database and providing recommendations and solutions to meet the needs of the organization both currently and into the future is required.

OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Coordinating the data verifications efforts of the organization – both on the organizational and individual level
  • Completing reports, lists, labels and custom data collections to support the work of the organization
  • Pulling specific data lists as required for internal and external use
  • Preparing reports for use by NOJA Power Staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

We are seeking a Design Optimisation Engineer with 3-5 years’ experience in the mechanical design of mass produced products/assemblies. The successful applicant will enjoy being part of an organization taking Australian technology to the world, and will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications; Mechanical Engineering or similar;
  • Min 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical design of mass produced products/assemblies;
  • Experience in designing production jigs, and familiar with lean manufacture techniques;
  • Proven experience in taking complex solutions and re-developing into simple designs;
  • 3D Modelling & Drafting - Creo & AutoCAD preferred;

Your key responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager, you will be part of a team whose role it is to reduce product BOM costs. To succeed in this you will need to perform the following tasks:

  • Analyse existing NOJA Power product and identify opportunities for design optimisation.
  • Create alternative designs that simplify product, reduce assembly time, and reduce BOM costs.

     o Understand the core design requirements

     o Work with suppliers to better understand their processes and cost factors

     o Work with process engineers to review ease of product assembly

  • Create detailed manufacturing drawings/specifications for improved designs, in conjunction with mechanical drafters and other team members. 
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate changes in design, in conjunction with Technicians and other team members.
  • Implement, comply with and enforce NOJA Power quality, environmental and workplace health and safety procedures.

Procurement Value Engineer

Job Description Summary

The Procurement Value Engineer will be responsible for driving Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) efforts to identify, assess and capture product design and manufacturing process efficiencies using a cost modelling tool. They will support / deploy VAVE efforts to identify and achieve significant cost reductions and performance improvement for the business.

Job Description Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support to Procurement, R&D and the various engineering stakeholders in project execution
  • Works with functional and stakeholder leadership to set yearly cost and performance improvement targets to achieve business goals
  • Consults with project management, product development, sourcing and operations colleagues to develop and maintain a pipeline of improvement opportunities
  • Successfully completes phase-gate reviews and other documentation as needed. Prepares and presents project status summaries at reviews.
  • May perform other duties as required

  • The Procurement Value Engineer will support teams making substantial improvements to the gross margin of company products and services as well as improved quality and reliability that will reduce warranty and recall exposure. Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of Value Analysis/Value Engineering principles and methodologies
  • Proficient in the design and manufacturing processes of mechanical products, mechanisms, assemblies
  • Strong engineering analysis skills particularly in the areas of statics and strength of materials Strong engineering and manufacturing operations knowledge in 4 key areas: electromechanical, injection moulding, electronics including PCBAs, metals including die casting and stamping
  • CAD design proficiency, preferably with Creo or equivalent
  • Finite Element Analysis experience a plus

Procurement Engineer

NOJA Power manufactures and supplies globally a range of microprocessor based, intelligent medium voltage switchgear products. We are seeking applications for the position of Procurement Engineer for our Office and Manufacturing facility in Murarrie, Brisbane.

The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for reducing the total material costs of NOJA Power’s products, by driving design to cost measures and targeting cost processes from a technical perspective, whilst meeting product development schedules. In addition, and again from a technical perspective, assure the supply chain is optimized in the best interests of the business. The Procurement Engineer is also responsible and accountable for supplier assessment and supplier quality performance and will assist in the supplier selection process and price negotiations.

In addition, the position requires (but not limited) to:

  • Strong engineering and manufacturing operations knowledge in 4 key areas: electromechanical, injection moulding, electronics including PCBAs, metals including die casting and forging
  • Complete product cost analysis from a materials perspective
  • Lead technical discussions with Engineering counterparts
  • Lead make vs buy activities
  • Use technical knowledge to come up with ideas related to the above on your own
  • Work cross-functionally to assure collaboration and team-work environment
  • Visit suppliers to access capabilities and performance
  • Develop and drive corrective actions for suppliers that are non-performing.
