A Bachelor of Engineering Degree will take 4 years and during this time you will be a valuable member of the NOJA Power Engineering team earning income commensurate with your growing experience and skill set. For three years after graduation you will be employed as an engineer to provide you with valuable professional experience.

We are seeking applications from persons enthusiastic to undertake an electrical apprenticeship to become a Systems Electrician with qualification Cert III Electro-technology Electrician UEE30811.
Year 12 school leavers will be considered favorably, as will mature age applicants with industry experience.
Based at our premises in Murarrie, the successful applicant will have involvement with the design, manufacture, testing & service of our products and specialized in house test equipment & test jigs. Apprentices are engaged in works ranging from PCB board level repair, software interrogation of microprocessor devices to installation of facility & production line upgrades.
Applicants must possess a willingness to show initiative in their work, be focused on tasks provided & passionate about their work. Examples of these would be advantageous. Applications should include copies of Senior results if they completed year 12 in 2017 or later together with evidence of other qualifications and skills considered appropriate to support the application.

We are seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to join our software development team. The successful applicant will enjoy being part of an organization taking Australian technology to the world.
Essential Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have experience in developing C and C++ software for industry grade embedded systems. The following experience is essential:
• Development of software applications targeting 32-bit embedded systems
• Working with one or more software development tools and IDEs (e.g. Eclipse, GNU Tools)
• Working with revision control systems such as SVN, Bitbucket, Git etc. and requirements and issue tracking tools like JIRA, Trac, Bugzilla.
• Knowledge and experience of agile software development methodologies including exposure to continuous integration and test practices and tools
• Development experience spanning the entire SDLC
• Contributing to the requirements gathering and design of solutions
• Good team working and inter-personal communication skills
Previous experience in one or more of the following would be highly regarded:
• Low level device driver development
• Development of IP networking (e.g. TCP/IP, sockets) applications, CAN and Bluetooth applications
• Embedded Linux development experience will be a big plus
• Communications protocols (especially SCADA), 4G, GPS, WiFi embedded applications development
• IEC 61850, 60870 and other power systems control and automation standards
Qualifications: You will ideally have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or related.
Responsibility: You will have the maturity and focus to manage your priorities and projects, while supporting the larger team in achieving the goals. The position provides a career path to progress to the R&D Software Team Leader.
