Two Enablement Tools for Efficient Relay Migration and System Validation

NOJA Power OSM27 Recloser Installation in Australia

As new relay technologies are adopted, customers have opportunities to modernise and transition their systems. With the introduction of Relay-04, enhanced functionality and improved platform capabilities further support this evolution.

As this transition takes place, increasing focus is placed on ensuring a smooth and efficient migration process. NOJA Power offers a complementary testing approach designed to support customers at different stages of their migration journey.

The DEM-10 Demonstration Unit supports customer training and initial validation, including protection operations testing and analogue value simulation. Its highly integrated design provides a compact and self-contained platform, enabling teams to quickly familiarise themselves with Relay-04 functionality and verify SCADA communication in a controlled, standalone environment without impacting live systems.

For later-stage validation, the RMT-10 Rack Mounted Test Set provides an engineering-grade solution for full system testing and homologation. Equipped with an Operator Panel, Relay Module, Recloser Selector Switch, on-board simulator, and multiple interfaces, it enables detailed verification of protection and SCADA performance. The system supports testing across simulated, partially integrated, and real-world operating conditions, ensuring system readiness prior to deployment.

Together, these solutions help customers reduce uncertainty, accelerate validation processes, and minimise disruption during the transition to new relay platforms.

By providing practical tools for both early-stage evaluation and final system verification, NOJA Power supports a structured, efficient, and reliable migration pathway for customers.
