New Interface Test Set Available

NOJA Power has released an Interface Test Set for use with the OSM recloser.

The set works with primary and secondary test sets to fully exercise the OSM recloser product. It can be used in conjunction with an RC control and communications cubicle and secondary injection current test set, or as an interface between the RC cubicle and an OSM tank with a primary current injection test set.

Both current and voltage inputs are provided. These make it possible to test the full functionality of the OSM recloser. The Interface Test Set can be used to perform a wide range of tests including:

  • Directional overcurrent and earth fault pickup
  • Directional sensitive earth fault pickup
  • Auto reclosing sequences
  • Distribution automation sequences
