EMC Testing Confirms Cubicle's Reliability
The most critical test for any medium voltage recloser controller is its ability to withstand lightning and other potentially damaging electromagnetic impulses.
It must continue to operate reliably while in this environment. NOJA Power subjected its new stainless steel control cubicle to extensive EMC testing during its development. The new design successfully passed all tests.
EMC testing was performed by accredited third party testing laboratory EMC Technologies in Sydney. Their modern facilities were used to perform the following tests:

- Part 22-2: Electrostatic Discharge Test
- Part 22-3: Radiated Electromagnetic Field Disturbance Tests
- Part 22-4: Fast Transient Disturbance Test
- Part 22-6: Immunity to Conducted Disturbances Induced by Radio Frequency Fields
IEC 61000
- Part 4-5: Surge Immunity Test
- Part 4-8: Power Frequency Magnetic Field Immunity
It is NOJA Power's policy to fully test all their products to the relevant standards before final release. In addition to this each product undergoes factory testing during manufacture and immediately before delivery to the customer.
